About Me

Hi, my name is Lara Piai. I’m married and a mother to two boys. Although I work in the financial sector in the Netherlands and have a background in Finance, motherhood sparked a new passion in me: parental education.

Since becoming a mother, I’ve been deeply engaged in studying Respectful Parenting and its alignment with Positive Education. This journey has opened my eyes to the importance of transforming traditional approaches to parenting, where children are treated as equals, fostering the breaking of trauma cycles and creating a positive impact on our children, teenagers, and society as a whole.

 

In early 2024, I completed my Postgraduate studies in Positive Education, working with professionals from Brazil and internationally. Motivated by this learning, I decided to launch parent discussion groups in the Amsterdam and Amstelveen areas, aiming to share insights on child education and positive parenting. In addition to these discussion groups, I also offer individual consultations, tailored to the specific needs of each family.

I also provide remote sessions for families across Europe and Latin America.

 

My mission is to help more families foster their children's development in a more respectful and confident way, strengthening bonds and building mutual trust.
